Inspired by the global food truck craze, this playful product line began with a curated hot sauce sampler served from a mini food truck package. It quickly became a worldwide hit, with hundreds of thousands sold and a growing fan base. The line has since expanded to include BBQ rubs, spice blends, coffee syrups, and sweets, all wrapped in bold truck-themed packaging that delivers both flavor and fun. Even the Original Hot Sauce Truck earned a featured spot in a Cost Plus World Market holiday campaign.
Design Direction I led art direction, product design, and brand identity for the entire Food Truck series. The visuals embrace bold graphics, vibrant colors, and playful packaging, all with shelf presence in mind. The goal was to turn a fun concept into something people want to give, display, and share.
Outcome A packaging system that delivers flavor and fun visually. The collection includes bold, truck-themed packaging and infographics that communicate product flavor clearly. The line became popular worldwide, sold out multiple channels, and even earned recognition in Cost Plus World Market’s holiday campaign.
